Giving Back

Tech Credit Union has a long history of giving back to the community. The philosophy of "people helping people" stretches beyond our membership and into the communities we serve. We are committed to and support community, civic, educational, and human service organizations. Our goal is to continue to be an integral part of the communities we serve by contributing to organizations that advance the welfare of our membership.

Associates at Tech CU are encouraged to support their communities by volunteering their time and talents. Many associates work with and serve on the boards of local charitable organizations, while others participate in events to raise funds for specific causes.

Sponsorship, donation and volunteer request policy:

• We recognize there are many groups doing great things for the community; we will try to support as many organizations/programs as we can.
• Requests are to be submitted in writing on your organization's letterhead and describe the event, date, and sponsorship levels. We do not accept requests via phone.
• Requests must be for organizations that serve communities in which we have branch locations.
• We evaluate requests that align with Tech CU's values. We will consider festivals, parades, table/booth events, networking events, chamber of commerce/rotary organizations, trade shows, marketing/advertising opportunities, and non-profit volunteering opportunities for Tech CU employees.
• We are unable to fund requests for an individual's travel expenses, trips or tours, pledges, tuition, dues, subscriptions, religious activities, political lobbying/campaigns, or camps.

Please submit requests at least 30-days prior to your deadline for participation commitment.
