Deposit Account Rates

"APY" refers to Annual Percentage Yield. Membership Savings & Preference Savings: dividends paid are determined by the amount of deposit balance within each rate tier. Dividends are calculated by the daily balance method and are compounded and credited monthly. The Board of Directors declare dividend rates at their regular monthly meeting. Premier Savings: entire account balance earns the dividend rate associated with the balance tier level attained. Dividends are calculated by the daily balance method and are compounded and credited monthly. Rates may change weekly. Tech Checking Plus & Business Checking Plus: must meet minimum balance requirement to earn dividends.

Prime Time benefits are available to members 60 years and older with a minimum of $5,000 on deposit in Membership Savings. Earn .25% more on Premium Certificates of Deposit. Receive a free box of checks annually.

Tech Credit Union is prohibited from paying dividends in excess of earnings. Dividends are paid from current income and available earnings, after required transfers to reserves at the end of a dividend period.
